This is a great make ahead breakfast for everyone! Berries, steel cut oats, honey and cinnamon! What's not to love! Eat it for breakfast or after a workout!
Just 6 ingredients!
2 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cup almond milk unsweetened
1 cup steel cut oats
1 tps cinnamon
1 1/2 tbps honey
1 1/2 cup berries fresh or frozen
1. Cook oats as directed on box which is :
Add water and almond milk to pan. Boil and add the oats and boil for 1 mintue. Cook on low heat for 25 mintues and then set aside to cool for 15 mintues.
2. In Mason jars add 1 cup of berries to the jars. Add cooled oats, add cinnamon, honey and the rest of the berries.
3. Refrigerate over night and eat within 3-5 days!
Other variations can be:
Just strawberries, sunflower seeds and El gave.
Blueberries, almond slices, ground flaxseed and honey.
Raspberries, cashews, hemp seeds, and honey.
