This is a easy no-bake recipe for energy bites. Energy bites can be used as a pre-workout snack or a post workout snack. Remember you want to consume proteins and healthy fat after your workout and this is packed with just that. The ingredients contain are almond butter or any type of nut butter you like almond milk, honey, caco chips or dark chocolate chips, and whole oats!
1/2 cup almond butter or nut butter of your choice
1/3 unsweetened coconut
1/3 cup honey
3/4 cup whole oats
2 tbs almond milk
3 tbs caco chips
Cookie sheet with parchment paper
In a small saucepan add your nut butter, honey, and heat for 3 to 5 minutes on low heat.
Let that cool for about 5 minutes then add in your oats and bring that to the refrigerator for an hour.
Remove the refrigerator adding the two tablespoons of almond milk add, unsweetened coconut your caco chips, and mix and scoop with a tbs or spoon and roll into balls.
Add the energy bites to the parchment paper on the cookie sheet and then put that in the refrigerator for another hour or so or overnight.
