1.Meal planning can be done by lots of different ways. A cook book that you have or multiple books you have. A blog site or website that you has great recipes on it that you can use, or even in a magazine. You want to find recipes with food that you will eat and recipes that fit into your budget. Once you have 4-5 meals all lined up then you need to write up the shopping list. Make sure the meals that you are preparing have these 3 main focuses. Protein, carbohydrates in their whole form, and healthy fats. Once you have your meal plan list, your grocery list then you are set up to start!
2. Meal Prep. Once you have done the shopping it's time to start cooking. You want to set aside time to cook. Now you do not have to do this all in one day. You can space it out or do small things at a time. Things like chopping up veggies, washing your produce, cooking up your protein, things like this. You again want to make this process simple and doable.
3. Store and repeat. In order for this new habit this new change to take affect you want to do this for at least 2 weeks. If you loved the menu that you created use that menu again! Why mess up a good thing.
Meal prep and meal planning can be done and it can be easy. This will allow you to have more time to do all the things you love and not have to stress on getting up earlier to make things happen. Create what works for you and what helps you.
